Quantitative Research
Our quantitative research is often conducted globally and makes use of our extensive global data collection capability consisting of Web-based panels and phone.
Phone research is managed centrally from London, England. In this office we have 70 CATI stations, operating 24 hours/day, in all languages, and in some 44 countries around the world. We routinely interview IT, Line of Business, and C-level respondents for our studies.
In addition to our phone capability, we conduct hundreds of Web studies in a year, supported by the global IT decision maker panel. Consisting of over 500,000 panelists, this panel is the gold standard for quality IT research.
We work on a wide variety of studies with diverse data collection requirements. Many are executed directly through the panel. Others, generally with low incidence populations or emerging countries, are best conducted by phone. And, many take advantage of our unique hybrid phone and Web capability in which we recruit respondents by phone to and using a “hot transfer” approach, help then start the Web survey while they are still on the phone with us.
Of course, quality data collection is only part of a quantitative study. Our staff is expert in researching the issues of the IT and telecommunications industries with skill in capturing client requirements, writing questionnaires, composing insightful and actionable reports, and using an array of analytical techniques and models to deliver even greater value to our clients.
