Tracking the Future of Enterprise Technology

RONIN partnered with a global technology leader to deliver an ongoing global brand health tracking study focused on enterprise cloud, data, and technology priorities. Designed to provide continuous visibility into how decision-making is evolving across enterprise IT environments, the study captures forward-looking insight across North America, Europe, APAC, and Latin America.

  • 3,600 Interviews annually
  • 20 Sectors reached
  • 18-minute Interviews

Objectives

  • Build a forward-looking understanding of enterprise technology strategy
  • Explore the hot topics shaping IT decision-making
  • Identify priority investment areas across cloud infrastructure, application development, databases, and analytics
  • Track how enterprise priorities evolve over time across markets and sectors

Methodology

This is a continuous, digitally led quantitative study designed to capture changing priorities at scale. Interviews are conducted online in local languages and last approximately 18 minutes. The programme delivers 300 interviews per month, creating a steady flow of current market insight while allowing for regular questionnaire refinement to reflect emerging trends.

RONIN manages the programme end to end, including sample design, company targeting, participant screening, recruitment, questionnaire programming, and data outputs. Structured fieldwork processes and rigorous quality controls help maintain consistency across waves and markets.

The study targets senior decision-makers responsible for cloud infrastructure, application development, databases, big data, and analytics. Coverage spans multiple enterprise sectors, including technology, telecoms, finance, manufacturing, media, healthcare, the public sector, and logistics.

Challenge

Delivering a high-frequency global tracking study required strong coordination, consistent sample quality, and careful management of a specialist, high-value audience. The programme also needed to avoid respondent fatigue while maintaining reliable trend data over time across multiple regions and time zones.

How RONIN approached it

RONIN implemented a structured panel approach, ensuring verified participants were contacted no more than once every six months at both an individual and organisation level. This helped protect data quality, reduce over-contact, and support long-term tracking consistency. To manage global delivery efficiently, RONIN also used a coordinated project management model with three dedicated project managers working across split shifts, enabling responsive support and seamless fieldwork across regions.

Results

The study gave the client a clear and forward-looking view of how enterprise technology priorities are evolving across markets and sectors. By combining continuous tracking with access to senior decision-makers, RONIN helped the client monitor change in real time, identify emerging trends early, understand where investment is shifting, and align strategy with future demand rather than current behaviour alone.
